De-Skunking Your Dog
Phew, what's that smell? Oh no, __________________ (fill in your dog's name here). Yup, the dog got skunked; that scent that never dies and makes you want to let the pooch sleep in the garage. Well here's a great method for neutralizing that horrible odor.
1. In a bucket mix 32 oz Hydrogen Peroxide, 1 C Baking Soda and a few drops dish detergent. Mix well to get baking soda in solution (it will keep settling out).
2. Sponge this solution all over the dog (do not wet or try to rinse dog first). Be very careful not to get solution in your dog's eyes.
3. Let sit for 10 minutes. Rinse dog, then shampoo and rinse again.
