Cat Litter Box Cleaning
We offer this service for anyone who hates cleaning the litter box or has difficulty bending or lifting. We also highly recommend this service if you are:
  • Pregnant
  • Undergoing Chemotherapy
  • Taking immune suppressing medication
  • Have an underfunctioning or weak immune system
The above four groups of people are strongly advised to avoid contact with cat feces/litter due to the risk of infection with Toxoplasmosis which can be present in cat feces.
 
How often do you clean litter boxes?
We offer service either once or twice or a week depending on your preference. If you need other service arrangements please ask us. We can also provide temporary service while you are out of town.
Do you need to have a key to my house?
We need to have access to the litter box(es). In most cases, letting us keep a key on file is most convenient since we may not always come at the same time on your service day. If you prefer, we can provide you with a lock box (like realtors use) for a $30 deposit which we will return upon return of the lock box in working condition.
How does your service operate?
We will schedule your service for a day we are in your neighborhood. Each visit we scoop, wipe down the outside of the box(es), clean the area immediately surrounding the box(es), and remove the dirty litter to an outside trash can.
We do a complete litter exchange as often as needed and completely clean and disinfect box(es) once a month.
Do you provide litter?

We can save you the hassle of hauling and storing bags of litter by providing you with it at a charge of $3.00 (per box) each time we do a refill. We use Feline Pine, a non-clumping, biodegradable, dust-free, odor neutralizing, and completely non-toxic litter.

If you prefer to use your own litter, we'll use that instead. We recommend strongly that you DO NOT use clumping litters for your cat(s). Please read our two Pet Tips about The Health Hazards of Clumping Litter and Healthy Litter Choices.
